Do I need to connect to Xero?

Not necessarily. Xero deals with your financial accounts. Tidy software helps you manage your inventory, operational workflow and management accounting. And they do work perfectly together.

If you want financial transactions that you record in Tidy to be recorded in your financial accounts, then you will need to connect the two applications. If you dont need to send transactions to Xero, especially during a trial period, then theres no need to connect.

Heres what we recommend during your trial period:

If youre trialling TidyStock - yes connect to Xero

If youre trialling TidyWork or TidyBuild - no, theres no need to connect to Xero at this stage.

If youre trialling TidyEnterprise - yes, connect to Xero for full functionality.

You should connect your Tidy trial to a demo version of Xero. Once you have cleared any demo data, you should connect your trial to your production version of Xero.
