Sales tax

The Sales Tax settings in TidyEnterprise allow you to add sales tax options relevant to your business and region. You can add as many different sales tax options as you need, which is particularly helpful if you do business with customers/suppliers in different countries and regions where the tax requirements may differ. These values can also be mapped back to the appropriate accounts in Xero. Add a new Sales Tax rate using the New Sales Tax Rate.

Enter the Tax Code in capitals, the Name of the tax code and the rate. Tip: Name the Tidy tax codes with the same names used in Xero to avoid confusion, both preferably the same as the tax departments names.

You can delete unused Sales Tax Rates. Click , or to edit the Tax Rates, click .

Tax Rates are populated in a drop-down list in New Material Item > Edit Material Item (mandatory) and in the SALES tab for Customers.
