How to create an assembly

Under the Global settings tab, click on Materials, then on the Assemblies tab, as below.

Before you can build ('assemble') an Assembly, you must define which materials make up the Assembly. Click on New Assembly. This will open a New Assembly box with various fields to be completed.

The fields to be completed within the New Assembly box are essentially the same as for a normal

Material Item, read Global settings - Materials - Add or edit materials.

Once you have filled out the required information and clicked Save, the new item will re-appear in expanded form at the top of the Assemblies screen with an initial stock level of 0. In the detail header are two additional function for an assembly, they are Components and Assemble (build)
